See AllDarkseid's Legion Is Ready to Unleash Their Power, Kickstarting One of DC's Best Events Yet
The best thing that DC Comics can do is just make the Absolute Universe a limited series, and end it, after one year. It will give the stories a purpose, and end goal.
I think it's just a desperate attempt to cash-in on the multi-verse theme.
I think DC Comics is just trying to make Darkseid of Apokolips another big guy, like Thanos. Darkseid isn't suppose to be a big brute, like Marvel Comics' the Hulk or Thanos. He was more of a thoughtful ruler, and had the "common touch" who could relate to his people, and their work. Now he is portrayed as someone who enjoys beating up Superman, sadistic, and is intolerant of anyone isn't under his command.
After Watching Star Wars' New TV Show, I've Realized We Never Actually Got To See The Darth Vader Story Lucas Set Up In 1977

Last year, I saw a lot of Marvel and DC titles with cover art that looked very childish, and just awful. They were either painted art, or done by AI, and didn't appeal to me, at all. Certainly unlike any nice drawn artwork that Marvel and DC did before 2021.
Without the Speed Force, DC Finally Explains How Flash’s Powers Will Work
I don't know why DC Comics has to resort to this "Absolute Universe" storyline. It seems like an act of desperation, or else they are trying to inject some of this crazy "wokeness" to get away from Superheroes that have a family, is rich, or is part of a league, or society in their cities.
Finally! DC Just Changed How the Green Lantern Corps Recruits New
Looks to me like the Green Lantern Corp probably became the UFP's Legion of Superheroes, in the 30th Century, in the way the timeline keeps changing.
