Watched a young so called critic on YouTube calling the movie slow. The atmosphere of dread that filled the film from beginning to end was totally lost to her. That atmosphere was the crowning achievement IMO
How Does Nosferatu Compare to Bram Stoker’s Dracula Book
Nosferatu is pretty similar to Dracula for about the 1st third of the film. This vampire however doesn't seem to turn others but just drain them untill death which makes his fascination with the mina character Ellen suspect since after he drains her he is done with her. I do miss the turning of the Lucy character as weĺl. It is a good film worth seeing though. They don't make them like this anymore
