I loved DS9. Casting, acting, script writing and directing were all first rate. Avery Brooks is in a league by himself. I miss Rene and Aron, James and Brock. I miss Jeffrey Combs and J. G. Hertzler. I miss them all. By far, Star Trek's finest production. "I'll be looking at the moon. But I'll be seeing you."

I disliked The Acolyte for specific reasons, i.e. sluggish story development and the tired flip-flop of falling prey to the dark side after a promising start. I don't love what became of Darth Vader and Kylo Ren. I wanted something new and uplifting that explores possibilities for growth and advancement. Not ambiguity that blurs the line between good and evil.
