See All12 Starships In Star Trek’s New Shows Ranked, Worst To Best
I still wish they would make the pylons on Pike's Enterprise straight rather than swept back. The concept art provided to them even depicted them as straight. The swept back look was unique to the refit. Now, every time I see Pike's Enterprise in promotional material, particularly as a silhouette or shadow, I initially think it's the refit. Besides that, I love the design. Sometimes when the angle is just right, it looks straight and I love it. TOS is my favourite era and has my favourite Enterprise design. Why dilute it?
22 Years Later, Star Trek: The Original Series Finally Got The Finale Captain Kirk’s Enterprise Always Deserved
Undiscovered Country is a brilliant movie overshadowed by Wrath of Khan. That scene where Kirk tells Spock to let the Klingons die is chilling and the look Spock gives him sells it all the more. It's like Spock was thinking "After all these years, I thought I knew you...". It was a ballsy move to have Kirk have such an unlikable moment so late in life, but it worked given their previous conflicts and the death of David. Even in a last adventure, a character should have growth in some way and having them forgive and accept their oldest foe is such a beautiful send off. Peace with Klingons was truly the Undiscovered Country for Kirk! It was the last thing he needed to do before retirement.
If You Call Yourself A Star Trek Fan, You’ve Watched These 10 Episodes, Right?
The fact you listed two episodes from recent Trek is laughable and really discredited your own list. If you were a "true fan" you'd see just how anti trek modern Trek is. Star Trek is being made by people who don't like Trek and so are using it to make fun of Star Trek fans. "Look at these nerds who like continuity and taking the world and technology seriously! It would be a shame if we just... Oops! I broke it! *Laughs hysterically*"
This Star Trek Season 1 Episode Was Banned In The UK For Over 20 Years
I'm from the UK and have been watching Star Trek since I was a young child in the early noughties. I've enjoyed TOS since day one. We're not all overly sensitive. I understand cutting a shot for being too graphic when it's aired when children are watching TV, particularly that phaser blast in TNG. But Star Trek isn't that bad it needs entire episodes censored. Well, golden era excluding some of the movies. I don't think children should watch Star Trek when it has swearing, but that's a different debate.
Marvel Head Kevin Feige Addresses Sebastian Stan’s Awards Recognition After A Studio Head Told The Actor Not To Play Trump
Someone get this man to play Luke Skywalker! He could totally pull off playing the character and make it his own while also being authentic to Hamill's performance. Look, he's great and versatile and this fan casting goes deeper than just a ing resemblance.
Why Spencer Dutton Blaming Whitfield For Alex's Death In 1923 Still Makes No Sense Despite Brandon Sklenar's Explanation
Makes total sense to me. Maybe watch it again and you'll get it.
