The unnecessary, unoriginal, not-at-all-what-we-needed, should-never-have-been-made The Batman is your favorite Batman movie? I how Reeves couldn't stop gushing about his "original, never-before-done" Batman movie. I was NOT in favor of the movie being made and was greatly disappointed the Batfleck film wasn't happening. That said, I kept saying "be that as it may, I'm sure it will be a fantastic Batman movie and I will love it." It wasn't and I didn't. In hindsight and over time I kept thinking, it's probably pretty good, I need to give it another chance. Not really and nope, let me put it this way, YAWN. And what was up with the prolonged motorcycle-riding, forlornly-going-our-seperate-ways goodbye between Batman *cough* and Catwoman? No one wanted to see that. No one cared, it wasn't the Batman we needed at that time. We just had a fairly recent Bat/Cat relationship at the end of the Nolan trilogy and you're bringing it out again? With a ridiculous, sappy ending that no one cared about? I rewatched The Batman ahead of The Penguin series. The Penguin was far superior. Any interest I may have in The Batman 2 only exists after being fueled by The Penguin. But hey, it's not all bad. Like I've been saying for several years, The Batman is in a tie for 7th best Batman movie ever made! That's alright.
