See AllThe TV Show Quentin Tarantino Watched 3 Times So He Could "Listen To Dialogue One More Time"
Aaron Sorkin is a very good writer but his dialogue scenes have a real Achilles heel. In all his shows, Sports Night, West Wing, The Newsroom, Studio 60 etc. all his characters lines are interchangeable with the other actors. Everybody speaks in the same rapid fire, fast talking wiseguy, self deprecating sort of way. All Sorkin's characters speak in one voice; his. Have you ever worked anywhere where the people all speak exactly alike?
I wish some good Hollywood writer/producer/director (Sorkin or Oliver Stone) would do a biographical film about Trump. He would probably have to be out of office before this could happen.
“I Cast Him In One Of The Movies I Made”: Ex-007 Pierce Brosnan s One Next James Bond Frontrunner After Having Filmed With Him 16 Years Ago
Really time for a new type of Bond. Idris Elba or a Jane Bond (Alice Eve). I do believe that Bond needs to be a Brit.
Reacher Season 3, Episode 7 Review: I Hope Next Week's Finale Can Make Up For An Underwhelming Penultimate Slow Burn
Season 3 has been kind of a bust. A lot of exposition (talking) and very little action. All the previous casts in seasons 1 and 2 are gone with the exception of Maria Sten. She's getting her own spinoff (called Neagly) and she's not in this 3rd season much at all. And all that fuss that was made in the lead-up to season 3 about this huge villain, Paulie, played by Olivier Richters, hasn't done much. I do foresee a fight to the death with Reacher in the finale. And the whole season revolves around finding the character named Theresa, who so far we have not seen (six episodes in). Just a disappointing season but I hope season 4 will go back to basics.
Steve Martin Names His Favorite Character From His Decades-Long Career
He's also a fine dramatic actor. Never any better than playing Jimmy Dell in "The Spanish Prisoner".
