"Hammer confirmed he has been turning down roles because of how many offers he's gotten"
Chevy Chase said the same thing, he even claimed he turned down the lead role in Forrest Gump. Birds of a feather I suppose.
The fact that they decided not to move into court doesn't mean he isn't in the wrong, it means that they didn't have enough evidence to be convinced that they could 100% convince a jury of his guilt. I've been in a jury where what happened couldn't have been more blatantly obvious with facts and physical evidence, and we STILL had two outliers who absolutely and immovably argued that what they envisioned in their own heads was the reality, and no amount of facts or data would convince them otherwise. The state doesn't take you to court unless they have enough evidence to practically by the necessity of even having a jury.
The fact that Uwe Boll is the only director willing to work with the guy since 2023 speaks VOLUMES -and make no mistake, absolutely no actor is turning down roles "until Uwe Boll calls". The man isn't even a laughing stock to the industry, he's a red flag, full stop. Hammer took the gig because literally no one else is offering, and he hopes that it'll get his name back out there. And it will, to anyone who peruses the straight-to-streaming specials, because I'll be genuinely surprised if Boll's latest release sees so much as a week of screentime in the theaters.
The industry has sworn off Hammer, because the allegations have come across as very credible. Others have come back after allegations clearly proved false, and yet... Hammer hasn't. There's a reason for that. Putting his name into Uwe Boll's next turd-in-a-can isn't going to change or fix any of that.
The Legend Of Zelda Might Repeat a Pointless 22-Year-Old Controversy On Switch 2
Whole I agree with your opinions on the Zelda series, there has been ZERO evidence to your statement that "The next switch is gonna be more substantial of a leap for Nintendo hardware. Probably the greatest leap of hardware since moving on from the N64 to the GC." -in fact, all evidence suggests strongly otherwise. Based on every corroborated leak, etc, the next system appears to be moving from the power of a PS3/360, to a PS4/XBOne... Which was one of the smaller generational leaps we've experienced, the only smaller generational leap we've had would be the console generation we're currently in with the PS5/Series.
It will be nice to have a system that can finally run some of the current games without massive framerate dips, but honestly there's nothing to indicate that it will go much further graphically without dropping back down to substandard framerate experiences. I'm excited for the system, but also cautiously optimistic. Nintendo has proven a historical tendency to do a really successful home console, and then a bit of a dud or two after that, it's their established pattern.
After 25 Years, I'm Convinced The Next Zelda Game Should Copy My Favorite Entry In The Series
I love how much of this post is literally the author explaining how they love BotW and TotK... But they ultimately wish that we could get that formula, except the old formula. I'm burnt out on these big empty meaningless worlds, where there's little to no sequential story until Inreach some massive cumulative threshold that triggers a brief cutscene. Sure, you could stretch to say that applies to all games, but the story elements of BotW and TotK are spread so thin that it doesn't feel like a narrative experience anymore. I'm glad fans got their sequel, but I really hope we can just give the formula a rest for at least a minute and maybe do a more traditional 3D Zelda game next. Something with stronger narrative throughout, and (heavens forbid) MAYBE even a little bit of linear direction to the thing. If I wanted open world, I could have played dozens of other franchises. I wanted Zelda, and the last two 3D Zelda games have been so focused on trying to be other oversaturated genres that they became an empty husk of what Zelda games are supposed to be. Give us back the meaty story, and drop the dozens of hours of protracted fluff that serves no positive purpose in a Zelda game.
Every Christmas Movie Releasing In 2024
Jason Alexander in "Dear Santa"? As in, the guy from Seinfeld? Not sure who the author MEANT to say, but Jason Alexander ain't in the flick, check out his IMDb page. Ben Stiller and Post Malone make appearances though. It was genuinely a fun movie, which kind of surprised me.
The Fantastic Four’s Newest MCU Reveal Has Me Even More Convinced Doctor Doom Will Appear In The Phase 5 Movie
Man, this is a whole lot of work that would be SUPER insightful if they hadn't literally already told us this last summer. We already know he's signed on for two films: First Steps and Doomsday. All of this dancing around is pretty pointless when they literally said it in the announcement.
