"I Would Have Given Anything To See That:" Superman & Lois' Tyler Hoechlin And Bitsie Tulloch Reveal Their Dream Episode
Apart from the comics, both Noel Neill and Teri Hatcher's versions of Lois had super-powered episodes. And in the context of S&L, I see no reason why such a subplot had to wait for a seventh or eighth season. Had the show been guaranteed additional time, Superman's death could have lasted longer than it did. With Jordan suffering a loss of confidence and Jonathan just starting to come into his powers, I could see the former conspiring with the Lara hologram to transfer his powers to Lois using Kryptonian technology. Lois would have to be both hero and mentor, a role she had previously played in a non-powered form. And she might also be seeking ways to resurrect her other half.
"Here to Stay": See Spider-Gwen's Permanent Redesign Now
Agreed. Didn't they more or less do the same thing with Mattie Franklin? Why aren't spider powers good enough on their own?
Marvel Just Redefined Bucky Barnes' New Codename, Making It Darker Than "Winter Soldier"
It's never going to stick. We're too used to Bucky being the Winter Soldier to accept a new name. Comics are littered with other attempts to rebrand characters. Lar Gand as Valor? No, he's Mon-El, not even M'Onel. Who calls Artemis Requiem? Who refers to Alan Scott as Sentinel? With all the Wonder Girls running around, Donna Troy is most often referred to by her full name, not Troia. And don't get me started on Kitty Pryde!
I'm More Convinced Dafne Keen's Underrated Fantasy Show With 84% On RT Needs A Sequel After New Book Update
Let's not forget there are also a few novellas that add to Lyra's story and flesh out other characters as well.
Bucky Barnes Is One Of The Longest-Running Characters In The MCU And Marvel Is Still Wasting Sebastian Stan After 14 Years
Logically, if Bucky had been made Captain America as he was in the comics, it should have been short-lived just as it was on the printed page once his Winter Soldier past came out. In fact, one has to wonder how Barnes was elected to congressional office with that hanging over his head. Still, given some our elected officials, maybe not.
Bucky Barnes Is One Of The Longest-Running Characters In The MCU And Marvel Is Still Wasting Sebastian Stan After 14 Years
In the comics, Bucky was not Steve's first successor. The Spirit of '76, the Patriot, the 50's Cap, John Walker, and some young guy who adopted the role for five minutes before dying all carried the shield before Bucky even returned to the printed page.
Marvel's New Juggernaut Officially Gains His Powers in Historic Origin
Why create another Juggernaut, Jr. when there's already J2?
Doctor Who's "Best Episode Ever" Question Isn't Even A Debate Any Longer
I use "Blink" as a way to introduce people who don't want to give Doctor Who a chance to the series. The shame is that Steve Moffat changed the rules regarding the Lonely Assassins every subsequent time they appeared. It was a good visual but still an absurd idea that the Statue of Liberty could be an Angel and just mind control people into not looking at it. Or that pretending to look at an Angel could turn it into stone just as really looking at it would. Or that keeping someone a prisoner, thus limiting their life's potential and usefulness as a food source, would be a good master plan for the Angels.
Wicked Shouldn't Be The Only Wizard Of Oz Musical Getting A Movie (This One Deserves It Just As Much)
If they hadn't done The Wiz Live on television, I'd agree with the article. But it hasn't been that long so I would hold off on a cinematic remake.
I'm A Huge Fan Of Wicked's Broadway Show, But I Actually Wouldn't Mind If Wicked: For Good Changed The Ending
One thing the second movie will have to address is how Nessarose and presumably Glinda eventually will be able to read the Grimmerie. If Elphaba isn't going to make it possible for Nessa to walk in For Good, I would assume she enchants the shoes to allow her sister to read the spell book and work magic. Likewise, she would have to do some casting to let Glinda read the Grimmerie. Otherwise, the Good Witch would be limited to what Morrible could teach her, which is probably limited to controlling the wind to keep her bubble aloft.
I'm Looking Forward To Wicked: For Good, But Please, I'm Begging You, Don't Make Wicked 3
If Mombi didn't exist in the Wicked books or movies (she's mentioned as a faculty member at Shiz,) I'd say Madame Morrible would escape prison in a sequel and plot her revenge using the character of Tip who'd be introduced as a member of the university community. Glinda would be ill-equipped to fight the new Wicked Wutch unless she were to learn how to read the Grimmerie and wield real magic. There are many ways the story could go whether based on Maguire's book or not.
Ghosts Season 4 Image Reveals New Character Who Can Also Talk To The Dead
It took me a while to realize Ben Feldman's Kyle was inspired by Kylie.
Harry Potter Predicted Deathly Hallows' Big Snape Twist 9 Years Before It Happened
Thank you. I think it's past time that the original title of the book is acknowledged by the American reader. It is a clear example of the assumptions the publisher made about the stateside audience in thinking that, first, they would not know what the Philosopher's Stone was in legend and, second, they couldn't simply Google the term to find its history.
10 Convincing Star Trek Theories That Are Just Too Good To Be Wrong
I'm glad someone pointed this out. I couldn't have been the only one who ed the numerous references to the Enterprises's chef.
Lois Lane Is an Icon, But Superman Wants Everyone to Pay Closer Attention to Another Love Interest
Finally get the appreciation? Did the author just start reading comics? While it is true that in the Silver Age Lana, like Lois, was reduced for the most part to two roles, scheming to get Superman to marry her or trying to prove Clark was Superman, occasionally she got a storyline worthy of her. I recall the first Mordru story in which the Insect Queen played a pivotal role and there was a storyline in Superman where she started dating Clark Kent after he had broken up with with Lois. In the Post-Crisis Era, she knew Clark had powers even before he became Superman and, while her marriage to Pete Ross seemed a consolation prize, at one point I believe she was running Lexcorp. After the death of the Man of Steel during the DC52, Lana became Superwoman with a unique set of powers. I will grant that Lana appreciation has not been constant, but it has been there for anyone who cared to look.
Batgirl's New Codename Confirms Her Place at the Top of DC's Batman Family
Tell that to Betty Kane.
After 83 Years, DC Officially Kills Off One of Its First Golden Age Superheroes
Well, Yolanda Montez who was created almost FORTY YEARS AGO as the second Wildcat qualifies as a woman of color. Whether she is non-binary, I don't know. I also don't know why this matters to you.
Superboy's New Name Is the Symbol of DC's Biggest Problem These Days
He could always become Power Boy. Or take over the Valor name.
Goodbye Winter Soldier - Marvel Confirms Bucky Barnes' New Codename Is Here to Stay
And Kitty Pryde was Ariel until she was Sprite or Shadowcat. And Danni Moonstar was Psyche as well as Mirage, Moonstar, and Spellbinder. Over at DC Artemis was Requiem for, what, five minutes and everyone knows Gar Logan as Changeling, right?
One Part Of Wicked Has Already Aged Poorly Thanks To A Wicked 2 Change
Seriously? Eventually they'll change the title of the second part to "Wicked 2: For Good or change the title of the first film to Wicked: Defying Gravity. The first Star Wars film wasn't always called "A New Hope" after all.
