I used to watch this on CW but lost interest in it. I seem to recall Liv initially being human but becoming infected and turning into a Zombie on a yacht at a social gathering of some sort.

I think she had worked as a mortician to begin with so brains were never in short supply(even if they were from dead people). Despite being a zombie she found ways to prepare the brains before she ate them

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't kids usually assume the last name of their father? So, unless Rey has a love interest that is both a guy and has the Skywalker surname; there'd be no reason for the kid to take it on as their surname. It should naturally be something else but even if that were the case the kid could still choose a different surname. One needn't look any further than Ben Solo. Who's that again? Why none other than Kylo Ren, with Ren being his chosen surname.

Those same despised movies of the last trilogy have layed down the foundation for characters choosing their own names regardless of their biological ones.

They just need to make sure they don't hand the movies over to another nostalgic superfan who won't leave the past behind.

I watched it when it was on regular TV and wasn't exclusive to a streaming service. Loved it then kind of wish they'd gone the AMC route and kept it on TV as well as streaming.

I'm still liking it. I don't care what the Rotten Tomatoes scores say. Critics or not, I like it. So, he now has blood-bending powers? I do wonder if Marie Moreau aka Bloody Mary is still alive.
