Bruh the thing about what Luke says during The Last Jedi isn't that he just senses some darkness on Kylo. He senses a total lack of light, that Snoke had already completely consumed and turned him and in a flash of the future he saw what the two of them were going to do, with no mercy or quarter given.

Which is why Luke reacts as he does. And then Kylo does exactly that, burning the temple down, slaughtering the other students, and officially ing up with Snoke.
