See AllThese DC Heroes Need Their Absolute Universe Debut, Here’s What DC Should Change
The Absolute Aquaman sounds very interesting, because I have always thought Aquaman is more than an Atlantean tied down by the weight of leading a nation that causes him to be constantly pulled in two directions. Superman is not mayor of Metropolis. Thor is not king of asgard. Wonder Woman is not queen of Amazon Island. Those titles tie the heros down and limit them from the bigger picture of protecting the world around them and not just their small piece of it. Aquaman is lord and sovereign of over 70% percent of the surface and he needs to be shown doing more to protect the earth as a whole instead of handling mining issues or hosting royal banquets in Atlantis.
I Can’t Believe How Much More The DCEU’s Highest Grossing Movie Made Than Its Budget
You used The Numbers Box office instead of the more accurate Box Office Mojo which has Aquamans total box office run at more than twenty million over what you are reporting at 1.152 million total and a record breaker International box office for a superhero origin movie at over 816 million.
I Hate to it It, But DC Comics Is Disrespecting One of Its Best Heroes
Makes sense as they are a premiere power couple in DC, but if you expect DC to take care of Mera considering that they can't even treat Aquaman fairly or prominently in series outside of his solos then you haven't read a lot.
Aquaman as a character needs to be elevated in DC but especially in books outside of his solos, and then the combination of King and Queen can be linked together. Geoff Johns and Dan Abnett did great jobs of showcasing the both of them, but this is where Aquaman needs to shine as the prominent and premiere aquatic hero in DC. It never made sense to me that a hero named Aquaman had zero ability to control water.
Personally I'd like to see Mera a all female powerhouse JL team featuring Wonder Woman, Vixen, Hawk Girl, Black Canary, Zantanna, and Star Sapphire. If they can do a JL Dark they Can do a Justice League based on female heroes and give them a prominent platform to shine outside of the guys.
I don't believe that this will be long-term because how do you continue with fan favorite heroes who are completely or partially depowered such as Flash, Mera, and Martian Manhunter. This is used as a stepping stone and sooner than later they will receive their powers back and probably be more grateful for it.

DC Reveals First Look at Absolute Flash, And It Features a Pitch-Perfect Easter Egg for Fans
I understand about a new outfit to go with a Absolute Universe, but this doesn't seem practical and it doesn't have a good look either. If you get rid of the SF then realistically you have to drastically reduce his speed from Fastest Man Alive to ONE of the fastest men alive. I'm not saying that I have a idea for what he should be wearing but this doesn't appeal to me. Hopefully the storyline will be good enough to cover over the suit.
Next Month Is Going To Be The Most Exciting Time For DC Fans In 2 Years
I don't think Gunn is going to have Aquaman in the DCU but if he were smart he would, simply because there was a desire from fans to see him. IF he should put Aquaman in the DCU hopefully it will be a serious version and a comic accurate version.
