Lucasfilm's newest animated series from Dave Filoni, Tales of the Jedi, explores the Jedi at the height of their power shortly before and during the Clone Wars. The series include episodes featuring different Jedi, such as Count Dooku, Qui-Gon Jinn, Ahsoka Tano, and Mace Windu.
While many characters from the prequel trilogy died throughout the events of the series (mainly as a result of Order 66), many other characters' fates have been left a mystery for more casual fans not reading or checking out expanded media.
Quinlan Vos Helped Children
Nicknamed the Maverick Jedi for his brashness and unorthodox tactics, Quinlan Vos was a very unique Jedi. Sent on a mission to go undercover with Dooku, Vos went in too deep and fell to the dark side. In the novel Dark Disciple, Vos is rescued and returned to the light by a redeemed Asajj Ventress.
His last known whereabouts was on Kashyyyk during Order 66, but Obi-Wan Kenobi later revealed he had visited the Path's base on Jabiim, rescuing force-sensitive children from the empire. A new story with Vos set inbetween the events of Episode III and IV would simply be amazing.
Yaddle Was Killed By Count Dooku
Besides Grogu, Yaddle is the only other known member of Yoda's species, whose name still remains a mystery. After sitting on the Jedi Council in The Phantom Menace, Yaddle was nowhere to be seen in Attack of the Clones.
In the comic Darth Vader: Lord of the Sith, Vader experienced a vision of killing several Jedi on Mustafar, one of whom was Yaddle. Many had theorized that Yaddle died during the Great Jedi Purge, while Tales of the Jedi revealed Yaddle was sadly killed by Count Dooku.
Oppo Rancisis Survived Order 66
While not seen in Revenge of the Sith, Oppo Rancisis served on the Jedi Council from the High Republic to the Clone Wars. Thought to be dead after the events of Episode III, Rancisis was revealed to have survived.
Rancisis was originally planned to have an expanded role in The Clone Wars following a few non-speaking appearances in season six, but sadly production on the seventh and eighth seasons were shut down by Disney in 2013. What happened to Rancisis after the Clone Wars is unknown, but as of a couple of years after Episode III, the Inquisitorius still had him on a list of Jedi that needed to be hunted down.
Eeth Koth Was Hunted Down By Darth Vader
After serving on the Council during the events of Episodes I, II, and The Clone Wars, Eeth Koth was mysteriously removed and later left the Jedi Order entirely before Revenge of the Sith. Having no affiliation with the Jedi any longer, Koth married and became a priest in the Church of Ganthic Englightenment.
Just after his daughter was born, Koth and his wife were ambushed by Darth Vader. A duel ensued, and sadly Koth lost his life to the dark lord. Vader then escaped with the child, who was revealed to be force-sensitive.
Jocasta Nu Started A Secret School
Best known as the librarian of the Jedi Archives who claimed that Kamino didn't exist in Episode II, Nu had previously been a member of the High Council but instead went on to become the Jedi's head librarian working alongside master Tera Sinube.
Following the end of the Clone Wars, Jocasta created a covert school with surviving younglings. After attempting to retrieve a holocron from the Jedi Temple's Archives, Nu was sadly slain by Darth Vader in an intense duel.
Coleman Kcaj's Body Is At The Fortress Inquisitorius
Interestingly, the second Jedi on the Council named Coleman (following Coleman Trebor's demise), Kcaj only made a short appearance as a member sitting on the Jedi Council in Revenge of the Sith. Sadly fans were never treated to seeing the Jedi in action.
Kcaj would later be revealed to have been on the Inquisitorius' list of Surviving Jedi, but sadly his preserved body made an appearance in Obi-Wan at the Fortress Inquisitorius, meaning he was killed at some point between 14 and 9 BBY.
Yarael Poof Made A Heroic Sacrifice In Legends
Yarael Poof is best known as the long-necked Jedi that appeared in The Phantom Menace. Thanks to his memorable appearance, he became a prominent character in Star Wars comics at the time.
While the new canon states that Poof mysteriously died at some point before 22 BBY, Legends lore reveals Poof died a hero after stopping a terrorist who nearly destroyed Coruscant with an ancient deadly weapon. Hopefully, Canon can restore this story thread, as it gives his character a lot of depth.
Depa Billaba Was A Victim Of Order 66
The Jedi Master who trained Caleb Dume (who would later go on to be known as Kanan Jarrus), Depa Billaba, like most Jedi with little-known fates, served on the High Council throughout the events of the Prequel Trilogy.
Billaba, unfortunately, lost her life on Kaller as Order 66 was underway, as did most Jedi alive at that time. While she may have died, her legacy lived on with Kanan, who went on to have a Padawan of his own in Rebels.
Sifo-Dyas Was Betrayed By Dooku
Gifted with the ability to sense the future, Sifo-Dyas knew a war was coming and warned the Republic that it would need an army. To do this, he went against the Council's orders and began discussions with the cloners of Kamino. During his time with the Jedi, Sifyo-Dyas become a close friend of Count Dooku.
However, Dooku killed and betrayed his former ally and kept the nefarious plans of the Clone Army a secret from the Jedi. In the end, Sifo-Dyas was merely a pawn for Dooku and Palpatine's larger plan to influence the galaxy with their war on both sides.
Shaak Ti Was Killed By Anakin Skywalker
The 2003 Clone Wars series showed Shaak Ti being captured by Grievous along with Palpatine. A scene for Episode III was filmed of Anakin and Obi-Wan finding her aboard the Invisible Hand, only for Grievious to stab her from behind. Unfortunately, it was cut, and another scene filmed later of Anakin slaying her in the Temple was also scrapped.
Ti then appeared as a survivor of Order 66 and a Boss character for Starkiller in The Force Unleashed. It would not be until 2016 that it would be finally explained how she died. She sadly died by Anakin's hands while meditating on the night of the attack on the Jedi Temple.
