I just recieved my invite 4 days ago, but I have played ACNH for 1,400+ hours AND played EVERY SINGLE DAY since May 2020! (Seriously. I had been disabled since my early 20s in 2011 and unable to work shortly after, so it makes more sense.)

My advice: KEEP CHECKING!!! It happened out of the clear blue for me - and I never even had the "Expansion" Online. Our hearts are with you!!!

Really??? I feel that that makes too light of the two, I am convinced they are indeed two seperate beings, who are just drunks who similarly out overboard - much to the anger of their crew. (Gulliver is a mere cabin boy I feel, while Gullivarrr is a captain whose crew is "on the fence" with his abilities.)

I'll give you that New Leaf had EXCELLENT music for the two or so months I could stomach it, but New Horizon's music is still tops in my book! Yes 5PM is the best. (I use the Nintendo Music app for timing chores.)

Well, yeah! No one DOESN'T adore Flora! I had her on my very, very first now-obliterated island that only exists as a dream, but she has fit into NONE of my themes after my aimless island.:'(

At least you can go back whenever you want to hear about how Maglev Mike took his relationship off the rails . . . yet again with sweet, lovable Flora.

I only need TWO things in "Animal Crossing: New Space," save what we already have:

1) ADULT MALE MANNIQUINS!!! COME ON!!! (HOW can I make a "Primetime"-themed area without guys in suits?!?)

2) A bigger land mass.

Come on Nintendo!!!

I tried New Leaf for MAYBE a week after playing New Horizons for a couple years . . . YUCK AND BLECH!!!

You can't decorate your town AT ALL pretty much! Or at least, in no way the degree you can in New Horizons. Worst of all: FRUIT DISAPPEARS ON FLOOR DESIGNS!

I'm glad others can enjoy it, but I need to be able to terraform.

P.S.: I can it New Leaf villagers were great, but I love New Horizons' villagers! I fell in love with Cyrano, but now he's on my new island and is just as lovable.

I deleted my first island because I picked a TERRIBLE name without thinking. 🤕 The other two I made, one replacement on my Switch and one on a new Lite, turned out GREAT! My newest Lite island, a wasteland is coming along ALSO great.

New players beware: THINK HARD before you pick a name!!!

I bought the Sanrio coins for like, $5! . . . no idea why, as I am NOT a fan of "cozy" or "cute." Oh well, I bet there's ONE furniture item that'll work for ONE of my islands.

Phew! I stopped playing years ago due to the intrusive microtransactions, but I started playing again in August I believe. I'm now proud of my urban-themed campsite and am happy I can keep it.

My newest island, a deserted wasteland named after a hellish place, Abaddon, I probably rerolled a dozen times. I just needed the Resident Services to give me room for a large entryway/dropoff zone, and the rivers to the south and west.

Now I have one small river in the far northwest on a series of cliffs and couldn't be happier!:DDD

I started with New Horizons, but bought New Leaf before the store closed. After playing the former, New Leaf was WRETCHED!!! I could display NONE of my creativity, as the tiles you place on the ground are "dead zones" where nothing can land.

Needless to say, I quit New Leaf in about a week after some sweethearts gifted me all the "town fruit."

So . . . $800 for a system with slightly better visuals and a dozen games that work slightly better, or FOUR Switch Lites??? (Yes, "Mario Odyssey" is BREATH-TAKING on the base Lite.)
